A William & Mary black japanned bureau bookcase heightened with gilt chinoiseries, the rectangular ogee moulded cornice above a pair of arched bevelled mirrored doors enclosing three shelves, above a pair of candleslides and a sloping fall enclosing a later leather lined fall, decorated with fishermen in a river landscape beside a village; enclosing twelve pigeonholes and a sliding well hiding two secret drawers, above two short and two long similarly decorated graduated drawers, the sides with exotic birds, trees and houses on later bun feet, decoration refreshed, interior doors redecorated.

Set of Four George III Silver Candlesticks
In truly wonderful condition and fit to grace any dinner table, this extremely handsome set of four Adam style silver candlesticks were made in Sheffield by John Parsons & Co in 1787/88.
There are decorated with cascades of foliage, flowers and plain cartouches, there are no armorials.

George III Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers
Made of quality Cuban mahogany of great colour and grain, this chest has a writing/dressing slide, canted and fluted corners, four graduated oak lined cock beaded drawers, swan neck brass handles and escutcheons; it stands on substantial waisted bracket feet.
It is in exceptional condition having just been sympathetically restored and is, in our opinion, one of the finest we have handled.

A Regency satinwood, yew-wood and tulipwood banded sofa table.
Inlaid with boxwood and ebonised lines, the rounded rectangular hinged top above two frieze drawers, with opposing simulated drawers, on standard end supports joined by a stretcher, on down swept legs with brass cappings and castors.

Four oil on canvas by R. Allan, who was active 1884-1914, of the Thames at Cavesham, Whitchurch, Streatley and at Sonning painted in the first decade of the 20th Century.

1. 2 men in a rowing boat, with a sail in the background and a fish trap - Cavesham on Thames.
2. Church spire, other buildings and a man in a punt - Whitchurch on Thames.
3. Houses, square tower Church, weir and man in a rowing boat - Streatley on Thames.

Oil on canvas "Ludford Bridge" Arthur Netherwood (1864-1930)
This is a large oil on canvas of Ludford Bridge on the Teme river at Ludlow.
It was painted at the beginning of the 20th century by Arthur Netherwood who had a studio in a building that sat above the Horseshoe Weir that is downstream of the bridge. The tree in the foreground still sits on a small island in the river where there used to be a ford before the bridge was built in the 16th century.
The picture has just been cleaned, as has the frame, which is original, so both are in excellent condition.
As a point of interest (and not for sale) the last picture is the original brass name plate from the studio that used to stand below the bridge.

French, Art Deco dining table made around 1925 in pallisander, a dense heavy wood similar to teak or mahogany. With distinctive curved leg supports, typical of the Art Deco style, the table has two extending leaves for flexible dining. A set of 8 chairs are covered in a woven linen-type fabric, two each in beige, brown, pink and blue.

Just delivered from our workshop, having been restored and refreshed this 10 seater mahogany twin pillar Regency style dining table is in excellent condition.
Two end supports on turned columns standing on four down swept legs terminating in brass caps and castors with two leaves supported by twin rails and brass locking clips.
This table can be a 8/10 seater with two leaves, a 6/8 seater with one leaf, a 4 seater with no leaves or two console tables.

A Regency rosewood, simulated rosewood and parcel gilt games table.
The rectangular top with projecting D-shaped end sections with pierced brass galleries, the centre section with a sliding panel, the reverse inlaid with a chequer board and concealing a gilt tooled leather backgammon board, the dual end ring turned tapering supports joined by similar stretchers, on downswept feet.

Mid 19th Century and in superb condition having just been restored this large tip top oval table is veneered in bookmarked rosewood, a curved deep rimmed edge, sits on a square base, mounted with original brass pegs above an hexagonal baluster pedestal on four well carved scroll legs ending in brass castors. As you can see, it will comfortably sit four to six people.

Large 19th Century Oil on Canvas of the Thames at Pangbourne (?)
This is an extremely well executed view of a house on the Thames near Pangbourne (but it could be anywhere in the Thames Valley) painted in the late 1880/90s but of an earlier time such as the late 18th or early 19th century.
It has been cleaned and is in it's original frame which has been sympathetically restored.
There is a faint signature which we have not been able to decipher - "FWB"?
If anyone recognises the house, the stretch of river, or the artist we would love to hear from you.

Very Rare Birds Eye Maple Davenport
Made in the late Victorian or early Edwardian period this spectacular Davenport has just been restored and refinished.
The leather skiver has been replaced. It is in superb condition.
It comes complete with original silver plated ink pot (plus genuine ink spillage) in the hinged pen draw, two internal drawers, four side drawers, working lock and key in the fall, some exquisite carving to the capitals and feet and it sits on four original brass castors.
The wood is Birds Eye maple which was often used to front drawers but in this rare case it is the whole piece.

18ct Gold Swiss Chronograph Wrist Watch
Very elegant vintage gentlemans manual wind, 17 jewel, antimagnetic, Swiss made,chronograph wrist watch in an 18ct gold case.
It has just been cleaned, has a new strap and is keeping perfect time. The stop watch facility is fully operational.
This watch dates from the mid fifties and does bear some evidence of use, as can been seen in the pictures, the glass has some scratches.
Overall the watch is in very good wearable condition.
