English Bracket (or Mantel) clock in an ebonised case with gilt mounts, gilded and engine turned dial with strike/silent control. Dial and back plate signed for James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London and numbered 3127, circa 1850.
Eight day movement with twin fusees, striking the hours on a bell.
Currently running well, if a little fast, it is probably in need of a light service, so cannot be guaranteed.
